1957 Chevrolet 283 Power pack overhauled engine 

Engine has been bored .040 oversize with new pistons & rings, Crankshaft polished with new main & rod bearings.

Cylinders heads & valves have been overhauled.

Block casting # 3731548 with a date code of (A3157) Jan. 31, 1957,

Head casting # 3731539 with date code of (A3057) Jan 30, 1957,

Intake manifold casting # of 3731398 with date code of (J856) Oct. 8, 1956,

Distributor is tagged 1110890 date code of (7A25) Jan. 25, 1957,

Engine is stamped (T204FC) built date of Feb. 4, 1957

FC = Chevrolet four barrel with Powerglide transmission.
