Background
I started working on cars when I was 14 years old. After high school, I spent 8 years in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. After leaving the Air Force I worked in the general aviation field as a licensed A & P mechanic. Starting in 1977 and until my retirement in 2000 I was a field engineer for an equipment manufacturer. I have restored both aircraft and cars for a hobby. After retirement, my part-time restoration shop was upgraded to full time.
In my shop I have restored or maintained everything from a 1946 Ford truck to a 2002 Corvette Z06. Although I specialize in 63 - 82 Corvettes, there have been other projects including a 1946 CJ2 Jeep, 1966 Mustang and 1955 MG TF.
(some of the aircraft restored in the 80 are at the end of the photo page)
My customized 1964 Corvette was chosen for an award in 2004 and 2005 at the Corvettes at Carlisle show in Pennsylvania.
